The search for the next American Idol is now down to its Final 8. After the elimination of Ramielle Malubay last week, the most popular competition in America is now left with four girls and four boys.
Several months have passed and everyone was able to witness how the contestants transformed to prove himself that he should be the next American Idol.
As the judges have observed, the guys are stronger than the girls this season. For Michael Johns has his confidence and great talent, David A. has his heart in his performances, David C. has his originality and paid off risks and Jason Castro has his pleasant voice and good looks. On the other hand, the girls are often given a lot of negative comments like Kristy Lee’s forgettable performances, Carly’s disastrous fashion sense, Brooke’s lack of connection (sometimes) and Syesha’s ineffective style.
Every week, the contestants are looking forward to their performance night and got butterflies on the elimination night. The question is still, who is going to bring home the title this season.
Who is going to be eliminated this Wednesday? Will this week be the end of Kristy’s American Idol journey, after being almost consistently part of the bottom three every week? Will David C. and David A. receive the same good comments from the judges? Will Brooke redeem herself after not being able to impress the judges last week?
Everyone has his own bet, and everyone has his power to make his bet be the Season 7 American Idol. Two more months and the answer to the ultimate question will soon be revealed.
